This model is the successor to the tried-and-tested Trail Freak, but has been completely revised in terms of design, fit and materials. The Primus Trail Firm Ground equips you optimally for sports, for the forest or for the road. It not only has a special design, but also an innovative mesh upper that is even softer and more flexible than ever before. There is a laminated reinforcement on the big toe for improved shock protection. The new trail model has a flexible tongue and the proven quick pull closure for a firm fit. Good, can be better
Beware, the shoes are on the small side with the additional pads in. You probably need to choose between pads and socks if you purchase the shoes with your normal sizing. The holes on the shoe tongues have an offset with the lace crossing point and cause a bit of drag when adjusting the tightness. The color is horrible compared to men's selection and I do hope the design team can step up the design for the women's selection.
